We're Moving....

...to NYC!!! Believe it or not we've even found a place on a house hunting trip. We thought we would be living in corporate housing for quite a while, but we found something to good to pass up. We'll be in Northern Jersey right on the water with BEAUTIFUL views of the Statue of Liberty and Wall Street. The building has a huge gym and an indoor play gym for kids! Chris will be working for Victoria's Secret in Manhattan on a new line of yoga pants, sports bras, running gear, etc! It's all happening so quickly, as in less than three weeks. More details to follow!!! Visitors DEFINITELY welcome!

Daddy's Boy

Pictures from the other night...Chris and Nicholas are so cute together. Chris is such a good dad! Nicholas loves listening to him play guitar.

Sophia's Hearth Playgroup

Nicholas and I have been coming to this playgroup since he was 4 1/2 months old. We have made some good friends along the way and we get so much comfort from the facilitator, Nancy. It has been great support for me and I think that Nancy has taught me about patience and confidence as a mother most of all, along with so many other things. We sing, have snack time, lots of play, discussion and silent observation among parents. When Nicholas and the others were really young, instead of snack time for them, the mothers were greeted with hot tea each week. I do hope to find another program like this the next spot we land!

We had a great Valentine's weekend! Chris and I went out to dinner at the Pearl on Friday and then on Saturday we went to Nicholas' friend Emma's 1st birthday! What a LOVELY day to celebrate a beautiful life!!! We hope everyone else shared lots of hugs and kisses with the ones they love!

Finally....

A mild winter day! Today felt wonderful and refreshing with temperatures in the mid 50's. Maybe Spring is coming soon!

Bath Time with Dad!

Nicholas got to take a bath with Dad the other day and they both had so much fun, as you can tell by the pictures! He was so surprised when Chris first got in but then the smile didn't come off of his face. Maybe the next place we live will have a bigger tub so that Dad can fit in it a little better:-)!

Nicholas is walking much better now and is primarily walking all of the time. Here is video....sorry it's a little dark. Oh, and in case you were wondering why he is dressed like this in the middle of winter, I was in the middle of changing him, we were just taking our time!
