Pee a-Boo... Guess What? I'm Two!!!

Nicholas had his two year wellness visit today. He did great! We like our new doctor who happens to be from Montgomery County and a University of Penn graduate, small world! His measurements are perfect, right in the 50th percentile. He weighs 28 ponds and is 34 1/2 inches. She was very impressed with all of his chatting! Big, big boy! Next visit at 3 years, wow!

Nicholas is still very much into Thomas and all planes, trains, and automobiles. He got a new pair of train sheets for his birthday and he was so excited the first day we put them on his bed that he didn't want a bath or to change into his pj's. He loves to read and his new favorites are two he got as birthday presents,"The Little Engine that Could" and "Tickle Monster. "He is a chatter box and very inquisitive and curious, always asking questions like "Who's that on the phone?" He now loves to sing Itsy-Bity-Spider, Twinkle Twinkle, Rock a by baby, and more. He loves to sing to my belly who he now knows is his baby brother and asks when the baby is going to come out. I hope his enthusiasm for his brother lasts! We'll see...!

Mimi's Visit!

We had such a great time with Mimi! The weather was perfect the entire time she was here, we enjoyed sunshine in the high 50's all week! Nicholas and I felt lonely without all of the company today in our first morning alone in over two weeks. We can't wait to see Mimi again in a month when she comes out for new baby Ranalli!!!!

Nicholas is TWO!!!

Such a sentimental day as Nicholas turned two this past Sunday. Time has gone by so quickly these past two years, yet it seems like another life time that our world existed with out him in it. He is our sunshine!

We had a small birthday brunch and invited our friends that we have known since NH. They have two beautiful daughter's Ruby and Tessa. Nicholas loves singing happy birthday and especially loved that we all sang it to him that day! A perfect day to celebrate a joyous day! Big boy is two, can't beleive it!

Pop-Pop and Mom-Mom's Visit

We had a blast and sad to say this is there last night here :(. Can't wait to see them again soon. Here are some pictures from their visit. We did a lot of fun things... Happy Birthday Pop-pop!!!

We celebrated Pop-pop's birthday today despite it actually being on January 10th. We were so excited to pick Pop-pop and Mom-mom up at the airport this afternoon, we were suppose to celebrate on Sunday but had to postpone by a few days because of a bug Pop-pop and Mom-mom caught. We're happy they are feeling better and that they are here with us now. We are going to have a fun week showing them our new city! I couldn't ask for a better father-in-law and grandfather for my son. I know the new baby will feel just as blessed as all of us to have such a great man in our lives! We love you! Happy New Year ~ 2010!

2009 has been a very adventurous and eventful year! The most memorable times for us were usually the most simple ones, spending time with each other and loved ones. We know that we are blessed beyond words; Nicholas has brought us more joy, laughter, and love than we could have ever imagined. We are looking forward to 2010 and welcoming our new baby into our family. We hope everyone has a great year ahead!
